Mason Alert: George Mason University Opening at 12:00 p.m. Wed. Jan. 27th

George Mason University administrative offices will open at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 27th, due to inclement weather. Only classes beginning at or after 12:00 p.m. will be held as scheduled.
West Campus shuttles will begin service at 7:00 a.m. all other shuttle service will begin at 10:30 a.m. Roadways and sidewalks throughout the region may be icy or covered in snow. Allow additional travel time to and from campus and plan activities accordingly. Please use good judgment and travel safely.
Students who are concerned about safely getting to and from the university on Wednesday to attend classes should discuss their individual circumstances with their faculty. Faculty and staff who have challenges getting to and from work should discuss informal telework or leave requests with their supervisors.
University events may be postponed or cancelled. Please check with the event coordinator, event website, or University Events Management at http://events.gmu.edu for more information. Parking and Transportation: Students who are currently parked in university parking decks should return their vehicles to their assigned lots between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. Wednesday morning.
